Busy week ahead.

I was kept entertained during my Easter holidays by the wonderfully scripted blogs, photos and videos that the groups in New Zealand shared with us. I’m sure I’m not the only person to have felt some small degree of envy at the amazing experience that the students were having but also incredible pride in the way in which they represented the school so admirably. I would like to extend my thanks to the staff on both trips and the football tour to Italy for their expertise, commitment and energy that went into making these trips such a success.

The next few weeks look to be very busy in the calendar! Alongside the numerous additional classes and revision support for students who will be taking their GCSEs and A levels soon there promises to be some very exciting events. On Thursday the U15 and U18 football teams will be playing at Crewe’s training ground at Reaseheath in the final of the Cheshire cup. To have two teams taking part is tremendous achievement and we wish them both all the very best.

Next week also sees the Big Band take on a very ambitious Queen programme, which I have no doubt will be spectacular, and the week after sees students performing at the Lowry; another tremendous achievement. Well done to all involved.
