Day three – Achy Breaky Feet

It was an early start, with all of us out and ready at 9 am. Everyone was up and apart from one important member – Mr Lonsdale. He was still in bed and clueless of how late he was. Eventually we all went to that well-known Chinese breakfast restaurant Mcdonalds. After eating our way through sausage and hash browns, we headed on the tram to the skyscraper central where we made our way up the tallest building in Hong Kong – the International Finance Centre ( the building from batman as far as we were concerned).

After plenty of photos and souvenirs, we went to Fukien high school where we were given a tour and had the opportunity to get to know some of the other students and learn how they did 10 hours a day at school. After counting our blessings we split into two groups. Some of us went back and got some well needed rest as the other group went to the night market to eat and to haggle. The night market was in Mong Kok ( no innuendo’s needed ) and was rammed with people as we walked down a thin, narrow corridor of clothes, dvd’s and other spectacular items. After all the excitement we went back to the hostel for a well-needed rest after what felt like 1000 miles of walking, for our 8:45 start the tomorrow.
