End of Autumn Term

It seems incredible that we are almost at the end of the academic term!

There has been a huge amount of activity and development which has given students new opportunities that enhance their educational experience. Home Learning was launched last week and I would ask you to take a look at this development. Feedback, as ever, very welcome.

The first enrichment day was a highly successful event. It was really good to see so many external personnel taking part and leading activities. My thanks to those parents who volunteered; despite their sons not always entirely in favour, their input was very valuable.

I’d like to add my congratulations to the cross country team and their coach Mr Gaston. Such a tremendous achievement – we are all very proud of you!
Our hockey, football and rugby teams have all seen successes this term and I look forward to further triumphs next term. No pressure there then!

We say goodbye to a number of staff at the end of this term. Mr Rigg, Mr Davies, Dr Pickard, Mr McGlincy, and Ms Gibbs are all leaving us for pastures new. We wish them well for the future and thank them for their contribution over a number of years.

Best wishes to you all for a very happy Christmas break.
